Interesting Places You Should Visit in Brussels
Brussels, the heart of Belgium and the heart of Europe.
You might associate it with chocolates, or with politics.
Or with the beautiful Grand Place and the iconic Atomium or Manneken Pis.
But apart from these first things when thinking about Brussels, there is way much more to see.
Museums
Are you interested in dinosaurs and ancient history?
The Museum of Natural Science, one of the most wonderful museums I ever visited which is dedicated
to natural history, contains the world’s largest dinosaur hall. Famous are the
impressive Iguanodon skeletons.
More into comics, like Tintin and the Smurfs? Then there is always the Comic Art Museum.
Shopping
When people think about shopping in Brussels, they often think about the centre. But in the north
there is a very cosy shopping centre with a very warm atmosphere. It’s called Docks Brusxel.
You could watch a movie there for a cheap price in the White Cinema.
Or go eating in one of their wonderul restaurants, like eating Thai food in the Thai Cafe or eating Sushi
and noodles in Tenshi. There is also a Flying Tiger store there, as well as Zara, H&M and Mango stores.
Churches
Brussels also has magnificent churches. A beautiful cathedral I recommend is the Saint Michael and
Saint Gudula Cathedral. Also the Church of Our Blessed Lady of the Sablon, a church from the 15th
century, is a wonderful sight in Brussels.
Restaurants
In the Grand Place, you can Rock Around the Clock while eating a hamburger in the Hard Rock Cafe.
The taste of Japan, but in Europe? There are some good Ramen restaurants in Brussels where they
serve Japanese Noodles, like Menma and Kokku Ramen.
In the centre there is also a restaurant with very tasty pasta and burger’s with a wonderful atmosphere.
It’s called the Food Factory.
I hope you found this recommendations useful and this blog fun to read. Anyway, pack your baggs and enjoy!!!
